Fresh grinding is the quiet foundation of great espresso. By pairing Opus 2 with Series 1, each shot begins with coffee ground precisely for the recipe you’re brewing.
That freshness allows Series 1 to do what it does best: guide when you want support, step back when you don’t, and deliver repeatable results without feeling rigid. The process feels calmer, more intuitive, and far less intimidating.

Great espresso comes from consistency across every step. Opus 2 gives you the precision and control to dial in your grind for espresso, helping you pull shots with better balance, texture, and clarity.
The accessories handle the rest. A magnetic dosing funnel reduces mess, while a WDT tool improves distribution for more even extraction. A tamping mat stabilizes your setup for consistent pressure, and a knock box streamlines cleanup. An electric vacuum canister preserves the freshness of your coffee beans so every shot starts with better flavor.

The Magnetic Dosing Funnel keeps coffee grounds where they belong during grinding and distribution. A wide opening gives you room to work while preventing grounds from spilling over the edge of the portafilter, supporting cleaner, more efficient puck prep.
Magnets secure the funnel firmly in place on 58 mm portafilters, so it stays put as you grind, distribute, and prep. When it’s time to brew, simply lift it off for a smooth transition from prep to extraction.
